Default "Much Much More Power"

Did anyone else note this quote at the end of the web cast when they talked about "things to come?"

Yeah. 25% more HP would probably qualify as "much, much more" when the Z06 comes around.

I said this before and got SLAMMED for not following the herd and not thinking 55hp was a "huge gain" for the LS6 over the LS1. Glad to see some others agree. :D

Yeah, I noticed that "much, much more power coming" comment. I guess now we can wring our hands waiting and wonder what the ZO6 will have in it!

Yea, I am thinking that about 500 would be good. Pehaps next year. Twice I have had kids (about 10 years old) tell me that Viper is faster. :cry

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree: :iagree:

Predictions: 2005 LS2 in the coupe dyno at more like 410 BHP.

They will bump HP in base models in a year or so to 410 or 415.

Z06 will debut with 500BHP or maybe a bit more.

Oh Gawd that would CRUSH me!!! I would trade in my old vette in a heartbeat!! (sorry, I couldn't resist) Little kids usually yell out "cool car!!) to me, although every once in a while someone will yell, "small *****!!!".... you just have to take the bad with the good I guess... MJ

I've got a lot of kids in my neighborhood that yell "cool car". I think it excellent for them to see the vette, maybe get em hooked on it in the future. ;)

As far as the "small *****" shout ... well you could shout back "your [mama/GF/Wife/sister] didn't thinkso" or maybe not. :lolg:

I've had a few friends of the female persuasion mention the ***** car thing. Then they go for a ride. Then they understand. :yesnod: Either up through the mountain twisties, or at the autocross, once they've gone for the ride, they stop thinking of the car like that, and start saying things like "ooh do that again".

I always thought the small ***** thing only relates to a european / italian sports car. (ex. Porsche, Ferrari.) The vette's about a lot more than compensating for a small johnson.
