I thought that Ferrari Spaghetti bears a strong resemblence to the C6 when viewed in profilce. It would be interesting to see both in the same color (orange). well, the wheels sure look the same! headlights too.... grill, no. MJ
Sorry but Ferrari did NOT steal the Corvette orange. Just looking at the pictures of the 612 at the NAIAS you might get that impression, however the color is actually dark red-like Magnetic Red II. Autoweek has pictures of the 612 the better represent the color.
The 612 is a "front mid-engined" car. It's style with a long wheelbase is like the other new "front mid-engined" car the MB SLR. About all they have in common with a Corvette is the engine is in front of the driver.
I went to the Detroit show yesterday and the Ferrari looked awesome. I wasn't as impressed with the SLR. Its too disproportional, the hood is huge and the rear tiny.

Technically the vette is front mid-engine since the engine is behind the front "axle" line. Just as a 911 is a true rear engined car, a front engined car would need some engine extending past the front axle; and the Enzo is a rear mid-engine car.
