What is GM's obsession with gray?

I like it A LOT more now than I did in the beginning.

It should look sharp in all black :yesnod:

Right where you would normally find the keyhole for the ignition.

I'm not a fan of the center section at all.

Without the nav, it looks like the section was designed as an afterthought.

I am a fan of the starter button and the interior of the doors - minus the silver touches.

:iagree: I like the C5 interior shape better, although the upgraded materials is a real plus.

I think it's functional, better looking than the C5 interior, but far from "Wow". However, it's not the mission of the C6 to have a Lexus interior. The 911 is the competition, and I don't think its interior is luxurious either. These are sports cars after all, not luxo cruisers!

I think as long as it is functional i like it, performance is my first priority. :)

Agree with you 100% leave that grand turismo thing or fancy interiors to others like Lexus, MB SL or Caddy XLR specially if there is going to be a weight penalty......

Performance cars like the Vette just needs a simple, decent straight foward interior...... :chevy

I saw it in person at the LA show and I like teh interior VERY much. Please note that I have complained loudly about too much black everywhere (dash, console, doors) regardless of which color interior you order for both the C5 AND the C4. So I am happy. I suspect that those of you who are not crazy about the interior, will change your mind when you see it in black.

You are probably right.....I happen to like the monochromic look. However, I do like very small touches of either chrome or brushed aluminum. For example, a small amount of chrome on the shift ****, the door pulls, the gauge bezels are all nice touches. Perhaps a combination chrome/firm rubber material for radio/HVAC controls. I'm not sure I'll ever be thrilled with that expanse of brushed aluminum on the console, but that's ok......dressed in black, the interior will be good enough for me.
