:iagree: Looks too busy with both. The tips look like they are off of an Oldsmobile (Aurora).

I'm surprised GM didn't do that as a cost-savings!!! Just imagine if they did!!! Wonder what the Aurora tips would sound like? Hey, let's have a blind 'sound-off' at the next Corvette gathering and see if the experts can tell the difference in sound! Tip #1, Tip #2, Tip #1, Tip #2. No peeking! Sorry, inside joke!!! You had to be there to appreciate it!

Re: Rear letering......C5 Style (vizkiz)
when i get my C6 in im going to remove 3M two sided taped cheesy C6 emblem and go with the smoothe look..or perhaps have the C5 letters air brushed on the back..or mabe.. :nono:
It's funny to see how many people want the C6 to look like the C5, but then they'll tell you the car isn't different enough!!!!  '''''''
And the area that was changed the most - the headlamps - is taking the biggest hit from US, the Corvette community. Didn't WE slam the C5 for the HUGE azz end, and now NOBODY wants to change it???
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:    :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
It's nice, but if you can, get a better picture and move the C6 emblem onto the rear deck and move the lettering more to the center of that area.
:iagree:
Exactly what I was thinking ...
And it won't make it look too much like a C5 either. The C3 and C4 had the same thing. If you can though, try to enlarge the C6 lettering and use that.
The exhaust tips would be more functional with the tips shown here too.
The entire C6 exhaust appears to be freer flowing vs the C5, with the exception of the current tip design.
Current C6 factory units appear to employ a "tee" to split the exhaust flow into two tips (see chassis photos) The tee = more backpressure vs the straight out single tip shown (To me, the tips shown here is reminiscnet of LT1 C4's...).
I like the look of the exhaust tips, but I kinda like the understated vette name as is on the C6. When I see the name really big accross the back, I am reminded of a Mustang or a truck tailgate. A vette, like a Ferrari, doesn't even need it's name on the outside - everyone just knows, "there goes a Vette!"
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
