"The c6 makes the c5 look like a soft little biatch."

I agree...........that this is an ignorant statement.

Well, like I said earlier, design is a very subjective thing and some will like the looks of the C6 while others will not. Personally, I think the C6 looks a bit wimpy and more like a Japanese sports car than any Corvette ever made, but that's just my opinion on the subject. The C5 may not be a perfect design either, but to call it a "soft little biatch" is just plain ignorant(take note, n1kki6).

I agree that the C6 looks good but so does the C5 with all the curves and that FAT AZZ. Every time I fill up or go to a store, someone always comments on this C5 on how good it looks or the other commment is "I'll trade you". The C5 doesen't look like a "soft little biatch" but sure can pull them.

I always hated the interior of the c5, because they look just like my Chevy Tahoe and My Chevy Truck....I welcomed the change with open arms a great transformation IMHO! But to each their own.
You have a 6 speed in your truck and Dual climate controls? and 6 way adjustable sports seats with 3 memory settings and Aluminum race pedals, and a HUD and Bose 12 Disc player!

Wow, I never thought the Tahoe had that. that is some thruck you have.

My dad has a Tahoe and I drive it every now and then. The only real similarities between the two in terms of looks is they both share the same head unit, and the recessed head unit/HVAC controls are installed identically to the Tahoe or most other GM vehicles with similar style surround.

I have owned 4 C4's and currently own a 95 coupe. The C5 never really WOWed me, but as total package, the C6 has hit the mark. I'll wait for the Z06 before I make up my mind, but will surely buy a C6.

If anything, it's the C6 that looks like a ricer on 'roids.
This is the best laugh I've had all day. Everybody has different tastes, though, so to each their own. I didnt really mean like soft in a bad way i was getting frustrated but the c6 has much sharper lines and thats what i like, not that i dislike the c5 but i do think the c6 makes the c5 look a little dated, just as the late model c4's made the early models look dated. I think everyone complaining is baseing it on the fact that its designated the next gen vette. But i dont know for sure.

geck, I went to the Det. show, and until I read your comment I did not really realize, that the only car I went WOW over was the GT40, I was just so dissapointed with the C-6, the Z06 is supposed to be a completely different car, I know someone that has already test drove it and have been told that it is Awesome and very different in appearence, the C-6 was in my opinion designed to target the overseas market, not the U.S. buyer, and if we get what we want in the Zo6 next year great, if not, I love and will continue to drive my C-5. (sorry Mr. Hill)

The "target market" is anyone who wants the "best" performance car for the dollar.

I'll have to see one in person. But, for now.... I can't say that I'm a big fan of the new body styling.... (nor the interior) from the pictures I've seen. I am trying to like it, I REALLY am. And I don't DISLIKE it. I'm just really neutral about it. Which is bad I guess. I can honestly say that the C5 looks more unique and more "polished" to me than the C6 does. I love all generations of Vettes and I'm sure I'll learn to love this one too.

They've tamed the beast! I saw the C6 at the LA auto show and was underwhelmed. The front end looks like a cross between a lexus & viper. And the side panels... has anyone else noticed that the new side vents resemble a late 90's mustang door only flipped. Instead of being a design leader the folks at Chevy have become followers in an attempt to Euro-domesticize the vette. Where's that cutting edge stlye we've grown to love? I also think no one bothered to drive the convertable around on a sunny day or they would have realized that a large silver center console is going to bounce a major glare into the drivers eyes when the sun is overhead or even worse when it's behind the car. The new Vette has fallen victim to taking an American Icon and transforming it to euro-blandness.

I completely agree with this statement, Coyote. Like you, I am really trying to like the new style and I can't say that I totally dislike it, but I'm just left a little bit underwhelmed. The convertible definitely looks more appealing to me than the coupe, but it still doesn't completely blow me away like some other designs. I realize that the C6 is not a bad looking car by any means, but I still wish it looked a little more menacing and more like a "sports car" than a "sports coupe" as there is a big difference.
