Popular Mechanics is reporting that GM will have a Son of Corvette that will be based on the Pontiac Solstice platform and will have many C6 styling cues. :skep:
All the manufactures will be coming out with many more roadster's. With the new manufacturing of metal panels. Hydoforming is making production less expensive and more variations possible. GM is on top of this and won't be left in the dust this time. My .02  :seeya
This is not a challenge but a real question. What difference does expense of manufacturing make in whether GM builds more roadsters or more SUVs, or anything else? I always thought product decisions were based on potential sales verses cost. If manufacturing costs are lower for roadsters, why wouldn't they be lower for sedans, trucks, and minivans?
