You know all I can say is that at first I was very skeptical of the design of the C 6. Then after I saw just the right color on the car, which was the Lemans Blue, Grand Sport paint job. It all came together for me. I think everyone has to see the car in just the right prospective and then the light will come on. What the hell, after all it's a Corvette.
You got to love it.
That's exactly would GM wants you to do, talk yourself into likeing it, hey the car was designed for one purpose to EXPORT,
Real intelligent statement. The design was to sell a few more export cars but also appeal to US buyers who prefer a sports car more European in size. Five inches shorter and one inch narrower is not such a bad thing anyway.
I've liked the C6 since the real/actual photos came out along with all of the recent car show photos(since i havent seen it up close yet). But I agree color can make a difference...I like the car overall with only a few/minor dislikes, but seing it in yellow recently really looks good, my fav color choice yet, over the red, blue, white, orange, etc.
And i'll have a red one and a black one and a white one to match my reabocks.Impulse? Better wait till the bugs and styling changes come out.I don't think GM is done with this one yet.
I have recently put down the c6....but after seeing a yellow one...i will shut up...i think they did their homework...i think we all should only judge the car when we see it in person...cant wait to see the z06 version in yellow...anyways cheers guys...
I agree. When I first saw the coupe I wasn't even mildly interested. It wasn't until I saw pictures of the silver convertible that I flipped. I just hope it looks as good in person as it does in pictures.

Don't forget that there are plenty of Americans who never had any interest in the Vette, that now will be interested. Styling can appeal to different people in all countries. I would never have considered a Vette or even domestic car purchase. However, I plan on getting the C6 convertible. Last time I checked I was born and raised in the USA. :flag
China is developing into a prosperous and growing consumer market. Products can no longer be limited to the tastes of the "American market." The C6 is an example of this direction. Since we are in global economy you can expect a decline in the standard of living in the US. We are exporting jobs, importing low wage "slave" labor, and running high deficits.
