The C6 is a beatiful car, it doesn't has to copy other cars stylings.....
However, I have observed that it is the tendency of MANY of us vette lovers to make our unique rides more unique in some way. Some like more radical modifications, some just want colors on their C5 steering wheel flags. Although I don't see myself replacing the front fascia with the one pictured above, I do rather like it. In fact, I actually like the grill in this application. But as far as unique, well those openings certainly are associated with more than one other car:

The c6 is a work in progress.GM came to school unprepared.They will change it's look in a heartbeat if sales aren't good.All future c6 owners would do well with a wait and see with the c6.

I think the Modena nose looks great on the C6. Also, when I photoshopped the image, I was suprised at how much the nose matched up to the C6. It's almost like they used the Modena (among other cars I'm sure) as a reference. I can certainly see Modena design cues in the headlights.........
The only problem is that, yes, the Modena already has that look, but if it didn't and chevy had it, I think this would be a really good design of the C6 nose. Just my $.02

Keep up the good ideas - maybe the General will take note and copy a front end more upscale than the MX-8 for the next facelift.
