Driving home on Tuesday. Bright Yellow C6 driving east on M59. This morning a Dark Red C6 heading west. Looks like GM is putting some miles on working the bugs out. They do look nice. Can't mistake it being a Vette.
Ya know, I should grab the Digital Camera and carry it with me. Hopefully I could get it up and take a pic and post it. Good thought. Now if I can only remember Monday Monin to do that. I should drive by the GM Proving Grounds in Milford and lurk. They are driving them on the roads so I should be able to get some good pictures, I imagine it would help if I was in my 03AE vert with the top down and camera up. Not in my Ford pickup. http://media.gm.com/about_gm/tech_ce...g_grounds.html
Sammylvr- thx for posting the GM doc with the Facilities list, this is the first time I've seen this. Very cool!
Back to our previous Forum discussion of C6 Corvette vs. Ferrari 360 and their different mission briefs, I've been to Maranello and looked through the fence at the Fiorano test track. Didn't see any facilities ( Belgian blocks, gravel road, etc) for testing "real world" durability there...
Do to construction in the area, I have been driving past the proving grounds every day now. I have seen Blue, Red, yellow and silver on the same road at the same time of the day. They are becoming common around these parts. Must be getting close to sales to the puplic.
