The guy came and got the car today. This is a wierd feeling, not being a Corvette owner. I don't like it. I feel like I dont belong. Just knowing the C6 is coming helps, but there is an empty hole in my garage and heart.

We fill you pain. I can not imagine going without a Vette after owning one the last 16 months....
i wonder if my wife will fill the same way when the C5 keys leave her hands....
Hope not...They will just be going to my hands while she waits on a C6 Vert...
I hope we all get our C6 soon. I have been a Corvette owner since 88, this is the first time I have been witout one in all those years. There is a certain sense of pride owning a Vette no matter what year. Even the people driving by my home have noticed the C5 in the garage. Right now I feel awful. I spent the morning washing it to say goodby. At least I got good money for it with no haggling. Making it that much easier to swollow the MSRP plus I will have to pay. I sold it to someone that knows how I take care of my stuff.
Now I sure hope they don't delay the 3.15 with the F55.
