Hello everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post. Before I start, I would like to thank everyone here for the education that I have received over the past few months on the soon to be C6 Corvette. You guys and gals have been great. Thank you.
Now to my question. This week, I put some money down on a C6 at John Lucas Chevrolet ~ NJ ~ 1 slot. The order was put into the Vehicle Order Management System (VOMS) and I received a copy of the order confirmation today. All of the ordering codes that I wanted from the ordering guide are on my confirmation. However, there is one extra code "FE9" included with my order in the "options" catagory. I looked back at the ordering guide and did not see anything marked "FE9".
FE9 is Federal Emissions. There are several codes for emissions depending on the state you live in. FE9 is for most states Another code is NG1-NY & VT and one more is YF5-Certification Emission, California. There may be others.
What's up Curveman. No. I think that the dealers guess is as good as any of our guesses based on the information that we have here at the forum. I think that the order number that I got (HHKCT3) is a GM number and not a dealership number. I am hoping to have the car sometime between mid-late SEP. Please let me know if you hear anything solid with yours.
The final two lines on my confirmation are "Ship to BAC" (00000116949) and "Ship to BFC" (00001). Does anyone know what these codes mean?
Thanks again in advance to all that respond.

The "grey 363" is officially called "steel grey" in the ordering guide. In many of the pictures that I have seen, it does look dark (can almost be mistaken for black). Black has it's own code and is officially called "ebony".

With all this waiting, I plan on making this the best car buying experience ever. I have made my deal relative to MSRP and I know what to expect. The new general manager at the dealership is the owners son and he is a cool guy, he bought a Silverado SS like mine so he could supercharge it. I am going to take tons of pictures, including the delivery truck unloading. Can't @$##@!% wait.
