"And for the ultimate Corvette fan, Mattel will introduce its first-ever 1:12 scale Hot Wheels(R) die-cast vehicle later this year, a custom Corvette C6, available in June for a suggested retail price of $150. This first-edition model offers sports car enthusiasts a collectible that is closer to the "real thing" than ever before."
I have about 20 different 1:18 scale vettes, racing vettes, concept vettes, a chapparral, etc. The quality of the Mattel C6 is poor to below average, IMO. Detail is minimal. Assembly is poor (glue on windshield). Paint is OK on the body, but the rear Fascia is plastic and is a completely different shade of red than that of the body. I've picked up Ertil cars for $10 at Costco that have better quality than this model. No one asked but my advice; Wait for AUTOart to make a C6 1:18 scale, or save your money for the real thing.
