Default Actual Order Process

I noticed orders are being placed. Are these at the dealer level only? I am not familiar with how the VOMS works. My dealer stated they can not place an order until they receive their official allocation from GM. My dealer is small but connected to large dealers in the DFW area. He states they will receive an allocation.

So my question to someone in the know is when can they actually take an order that will go forward ? When will official allocations come down ? I am second on my dealers list, unless the number one wants a Vert (which I hope and think they do) then I’m #1 for a Silver w/Grey coupe.

Default Re: Actual Order Process (DCBE)

Forum dealers have been placing orders in the VOMS system since April 12. However, that may only be the larger dealers. Those dealers will be able to preference their orders next week. That's when the dealers can specify which orders they want built first. Those orders will receive TPW's (Target Production Week) if there are no constraints for what has been ordered.

It sounds like your dealer has a small allocation. You need to find out how many Corvettes that dealer sold last year and if they have been certified as being a qualified dealer to service the C6. Bottom line, no allocation, no order can be placed.

Hope this helps.
