C6 Pricing?
What's the pricing structure for the C6?
Option package costs?
Sorry if this has been covered. I tried looking for a search function, but couldn't find one on this forum?

Price TBA, WAG's put it at more or less a few percent increase. Search function is accessed via the side bar.

Nothing has been announced yet. I still say they will announce prices right after the first unites ship. Just like every other year.

So maybe $45,000 for a base 6-speed; $47,000 for the Z51 option? Am I in the ballpark?

You are not in the ball park, you are not in the parking lot. c6 = $60K

Eh...no. High $40k for the Coupe, low $50k for the 'Vert. To get to $60k will require a fully loaded 'Vert or a Z06.

Re: C6 Pricing? (Yogivette)
still not sure if i'll be going c6 but i did see them at the mid-ohio lemans- where the c5r's were 1 and 2 ! does anyone know if there are dealers who are not going to "gouge" the public. the closest dealer to me has a habit of marking up any "hot" new cars by $5000-7500. i know that there will not be a price like the '04 c5 fire sale (which i'm still considering as a replacement for my '00) but i do not want to pay some "added value" for the privilege of being one of the first c6 owners. any feedback appreciated.

Re: C6 Pricing? (SleepR1)
While someone can possibly keep one MSRP'd under $50K I doubt you'll see any "strippers" on dealers show room floors. They will option the hell out of them because that's where they make there money. I remember in 98 going out looking for a base C5 with 3 options, AH, Z51 and MN6. I didn't want the memory, glass top, dual zone AC, telescopic wheel sport seats etc. Could not find one. They were all loaded.
So in theory one can be had for less than $50K but I doubt you'll see any during the first year.
Just an observation based on experience.

Most for us on the forum with a C6 on order are paying MSRP or slightly less.

Re: C6 Pricing? (Corvette Junkie)
My Forum dealer (one of top four) quoted me MSRP plus 3K on my C6 and took my $2K deposit back in Oct 2003. Can I expect MSRP as a new junior member of the Forum?

If he is charging you MSRP + plus 3K, it seems he is not being a friendly forum dealer. That is my opinion. :mad

look at the price increases in base models over the 51 year history of the corvette and you will see that it is not going to be that big of a jump.
