I'm beginning to worry about whether the C6 will fit into my tight garage. The advertised width of the car is 72.6 inches. I've noticed that the side mirrors protrude beyond the body. From a straight on photo, I estimate the mirror to mirror width is about 5.6% greater than the body width.
Does anyone know where across the car the official width measurement is taken? Does it take into account the mirrors?

I am sure the mirrors will fold in how much I dont know.

I think the width of the car is at the widest point (mirrors included).
C5 front track is 61.9", rear track is 62", width is 73.6"
C6 took an inch off the width.
In any case, I have a townhouse with a single car garage and my (wider) C5 fits just fine. My girlfriend gets nervous everytime I pull in however because my mirror clearance with the garage door opening is about 2.5" on each side and I tend to leave only 1" clearance on the passenger side. The garage widens about 18" on the passenger side inside the door.
