Introducing myself
hey guys im new to the board. just wanted to say hello ive been checking the forum for C6 news for a while. but ive had registration problems...but i finally got on
I had a 98 C5 it was black on black with BBS LM wheels tri-flo exaust and K&N Y -intake. i traded in for my Nissan 350z in 2002.
my father and I currently have the #1 allocation at two dealerships in NC for a C6 ....one is to keep one is to sell
here is the specs for ours:
MACHINE SILVER
EBONY
Z51 /performance axel
1SB
NAV
POLISHED WHEELS
XM RIADIO
DUAL ROOF PACKAGE
the other one is black and its equipted the same
is the dual roof package a current restraint? my dealership is fairly large but i still dont have a TPW.

Hello,
Welcome to Corvette Forum!
I am number one on the list at a "small" Chevy dealer in Phoenix Arizona. They received their first allocation order (and I think only one so far) on 6/17/2004. I was given a TPW and delivery date.
Your dealer should have received at least one allocation. They must of kept the car for them selves or bypassed you because you wanted the dual roof package (instead of asking you to drop it from the order).

no the big dealership got a allocation for the one im keeping and the status has been upgraded. i just dont have a TPW yet. everything is on the up and up the fleet manager there is a long time family friend.
now for the other dealership i dunno

thanks for the welcoming guys,
im really excited about my C6 ive been out of my C5 since october of 02 but i must say i absolutely love my 350Z thats why it and the C6 should make good garage mates
hopefully i will get some more info on my vette from the dealer this week. sadly they're not really on the ball. they were surprised when i was telling them their own status codes the other day.

I am also new to the Forum. This site proves to my wife that there are People that are much more fanatics than myself.
I just sold my C5 to prepare for my dream car!!!! I started the order process at my dealer last year, the day following Thankgiving, and I am about worn out thinking about getting the C6!
This forum has been great to keep up with the latest info.

i know what you mean i put 1k on one in january . so ive benn obsessing over every bit of info since. but you right between this forum and my current car's forum this is all i do!
