Default Official Convertible Order Status Thread

To my knowledge all vert orders are at the same status of 1100 or 1150. I figured we could use this thread to have people update other forum members if their status code has changed. When you post your status code, also briefly describe your order. I'll be the first to post...see the next message...

Unfortunately, this thread will be about four pages buried before anyone moves to the next status code.

Mine is at the same code as everyone elses right now.

It looks like you have access to the GM order management system. Do you? If so would you be willing to look up our orders from time to time?

The last update I got from my dealer showed status 1100 but since this is for a convertible, I haven't been hounding him for any updates. I guess once I start seeing the convertibles and Lemans Blue off of constraint, I'll be calling every week

1YY67 - Corvette Convertible
19U - LeMans Blue Metallic
1SB - Preferred Equipment Pkg
Z51 - Performance Handling Pkg
QG7 - Polished Wheels
U3U - Navigation
MX0 - Auto

From what I understand at this time (July 26) ALL verts. are on constraint. Production, accourding to rumor, for the verts should begin between the middle of August to the end of September. Also, Lemans Blue is on constraint.

I believe I read somewhere that the convertible production would start right around, if not at the same time as the coupe. I saw this about a month ago. It might not be true but the wait will be worth it!

Just as a quick look, you might want to go to Rick Daniels site as he has all his customer orders listed, tracked and update often. I use this as a reflection of the delivery pace.....and since I am on the list it should give me a reality check on the delivery timeframe. The "unknown" is how many folks ahead of me have constraints and how that effects the overall timeframe. It kind of sounds like a crap shoot at this point until they really gear up. I have no clue how other dealer allocations and production compares to Rick's pace of delivery so maybe this doesn't make any sense to anyone except for Rick's group. Hope it helps.

I spoke directly to the production office at the factory yesterday (July 27), and here is the story. There are not ANY verts being produced at this moment. Beginning sometime in August, there will be between 40-50 TEST verts produced at a rate of 2 per day. After that is completed, if there are not any problems, the DEALER-ORDERED verts will begin production. This will take place somewhere in the last half of September, probably closer to the end of September! So I will impatiently wait for my Lemans Blues vert. I assume that NO ONE has a TPW prior to the last part of September.
