Apologies: from a new guy!
Sorry...forgot to introduce myself...had been skulking here so long(over a year) that it got to be comfortable...
History: 1st new Corvette: 1969 427/435:
Most recent: "04 Coupe: White...
Tenth one I've had: Wish I had the first one back!
Waiting for my low volume dealer (allotted 6 units Aug_Nov) to call me.
Next(and likely last) will be: coupe/1SB/Z51/2CL...Black/Gray..
Thanks to all of you for great info...and for making my days a bit brighter!
Regards!

WOW
What a first ever new Vette to have !!! Yea, I bet you wish you had that one back
What color was it?
The 72 coupe that I had was Bryar Blue, a somewhat rare, and very nice looking color.......I miss that car too. The styling of the chrome bumper cars of that era is classic

Just had a 300-hp 327 in my first vette, a 67 white convertible, but I wish I had it back, too.

My first was a 1973 Arctic White w/L48 and auto tranny. I don't want it back either. I hate it when people try to be nostalgic and say, "Bah! New cars? Humbug! They don't make 'em like they used to!"
DAMN SKIPPY!! They make them
BETTER!!!

SSkindog:
The '69 was dark green, tan interior...AM/FM radio, hand-cranked windows, and hot inside all the time.
From then till now also had '74,'76,'84,'86,'88,'89,'92(convertible) ,and'95.
Each one has been progressively better, although the '74 and '76 were more cruiser than performer.
I'm enjoying the '04 immensely, but really anxious to get into a C6...maybe not much longer to wait.
