Default HUD layout

Anyone know if the HUD layout on the C6 can be changed? I'm not talking adding or subtracting options, I'm talking about I've seen different pics. (I'd post but the lastest has a copyright)

The "original" I saw had the mph to the right with the tach starting to the left and running up over the mph like cresting a mountian. The latest I just saw had the mph close to center with the tach kind of circling the mph. I'm now curious to just which one the car has or if you can choose either?

The HUD has both a street and a track mode, but I don't know how you switch from one to the other. I do know the display is different between the two.

Okay. So as not to break copyright and all I'm going to post links to the site that I saw the pics on, plus one that I had.

This is the "mountain" style I've seen:

This is the new "circle" style I've NEVER seen before:

So the two I've posted are the street and track mode? Which ones which I wonder?

I'm betting the circle is the track mode.

I don't see any "info" difference between it and the pic I POSTED though. The link posted doesn't have the G info on it, but the pic I posted does. I would have though the modes would be more than just a style change.

The circle is the "Street"mode. The arched style or C5 style is the "Track" mode. In my opinion this was a waste of technology because you get the same information in both modes. The only difference is the style of tach. It would have been much better if the "Track" mode had more information for racing.

Track mode is the round one, as it contains the G-force rating of the car, while the street mode doesn't.

You are wrong! The round tach is for the street. Both tachs have the G Meter.

I believe there are three modes - the Street version does not have the tach display or the g-meter just the basic speedo and what you'd need for highway cruising. Less intrusive for normal driving.

There are 2 Track modes giving you the info you want during spirited driving. One Track mode has the hockey stick tach and the other has the half circle tach. Both, I believe, have the g-meter.

Does anybody know what it means in the Offical Corvette workbook on page 11 for the navigation and HUD it says. - "Turn-by-turn arrows displayed on Head-Up Display"?

Page 3-20 of the Owners Manual states "If your vehicle is equipped with a navigation radio, many of the turn by turn navigation features will also be displayed on the HUD if you are in the Street Mode."

Next to that statment it shows a display with left & right turn arrows and MPH on top. Second line has direction of turn arrow and upcoming street name. Bottom line has distance to turn and a bar graph.
