Don't get me wrong, people, I think the C6 is an all-around sucess and I have ordered one, BUT, the more I look at the nose, the more it looks 'Viper-ish" to me. It's starting to gnaw away at me.
i disagree. i see very little resemblance froma viper to a C3, but a strong resemblence from a C6 to a viper.
Get up close to a Viper some time. Guru_4_Hire and I did (he's our local C3 expert) and he spent a solid 10 minutes pointing out everything that the Viper took from the C3. Everything from door handles, to fenders, to side pipes, to the rear window. And lots more.
Well, I think the new Viper SRT-10 is one of the meanest looking cars on the road and it's definitely NOT a Corvette gone wrong. Hell, it has a lot more presence than either the C5 or the C6 as far as I'm concerned, but it's uncivilized and not something I would want to drive on a daily basis. It kills me how some people in this forum bash the Viper, though. I just don't get it.

I agree, their both awesome cars and if they were the same price I think a lot of the same people who bash them now would be driving them. As for looks I don't know for c3 similarities, but I do know from a strait on view the c6 and current Viper do share some similarities. Now who came up with them first...we'll never know.
