Can TPW be moved forward?

Can TPW be moved forward?

Hey all,

Just wondering...I have watched my TPW move from 8/16 to 9/6, most likely due to the Lemans blue problem. I am status 3000 ..... can my TPW ever be moved up (like back into August) if the blue problems get fixed...or do they just move in one direction?

I doubt it....BTw I have a Lemans blue ordered with a status 3000 and a TPW of 8/16 moved to 9/6 also.....
Must be a "Lemans blue Pat " thing.

talked with my dealer today that talked to his GM rep....The LeMans Blue issue is basically resolved. The sliding TPWs are mostly because of the slower than anticipated ramp up and having to deal with building less cars than anticipated. IT WILL AND IS GETTING BETTER! My Lemans Blue is also the week of 9/6. Should be one hell of a week!

Can't wait until 9/6 either! It sounds like lots of blue cars will be built in the 9/6 week. We can only hope...

It is rare, but TPW's can move forward, especially during ramp-up of a new model.

I believe the earliest a TPW can be is two weeks. Meaning the best a new TPW assigned next week would be 8/23 or more likely 8/30. With "just-in-time" inventory, vendors need at least two weeks to set up their supplies.

I wouldn't bet on TPW's being moved up, but there sure looks like a lot of LeMans Blue TPW's of 9/6.
