Share away!! I didn't mind the LS6 in the Caddy CTS-V with the 6 speed manual trans either. Spread the GM wealth and we all will benefit with first rate engineering in the Corvette. Same applies to sharing the Bowling Green Assembly Plant with Cadillac for the XLR. All this helps to justify to the bean counters in corporate the high performance products we all love to have.
There is certainly a very good chance that the Vette version will see a bump in HP to appease the Corvette crowd and I think rightfully so, the Vette deserves some exclusivity even if its only a token 50HP bump
