Default How Does Shipping Work

So we know that C6's are coming off the assembly line and stacking up in the parking lot at Bowling Green. When the decision is made to begin shipping, does anyone know which cars will be shipped first?

No help here, but for what it's worth, BGA doesn't have its own rail spur. All cars that have to be shipped by rail are first trucked down to the Saturn Plant in Columbia TN and loaded on the trains there.

Believe that the BGA quit doing the rail shipments from Springhill in mid year 03 model production. All 04's were shipped to dealers on trucks. Lot less problems with exterior blemishes using trucks was reason I heard. Would expect 05's to go by truck also.

True - Corvettes are no longer shipped by rail.
