The last one was when the C5 came out in 1997. It kinda had like a 6 million dollar man thing happening. It showed very short clips of the Vette taking off and speeding to the 178 MPH mark. It jumped back and forth between the straight line drive and a control center with large monitors and computers... looked like the space shuttle launch center with all the computer guys. The commercial barely even showed the Vette.

One word - AWESOME.

It's about time GM/Chevy started to market the Corvette. I've seen more of the Ford GT40 commercial then anything vette related.

It's probably long forgotten, that's why. This is "A Boy's Dream" commercial you're referring to, correct? The commercial that was filmed by Guy Ritchie and was banned by the safety ****'s.

BTW.. BMW was smart enough to do a series of commercials for the internet, so they didn't have to deal with the safety ****'s. Did anyone ever see the M5 commercial that Guy Ritchie did called Star? Awesome commercial!
