I have been trying to figure out what the bold, grayed out bold, and the normal text mean. Each time I refresh the screen it seems to be changing. I thought at first is was something like Bold meant someone had posted since the last time I looked or something like that.But that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone have a clue.

I have noticed that the new thread icon pops up on some threads if I leave the forum and come back, even if no new post has been added to that thread. Also, for those threads where the new thread icon pops up, the lettering in the name of the thread is bold, where it's not on old threads without the "new thread" icon beside it.
Would be nice for someone who knows about these things to explain some of them to us.

I don't know these things, but my observations tell me that a post that you have not viewed appears as bold black. After you view it, it subsequently appears as unbolded gray. If someone posts again, it then appears as bold gray. (I think)

I think bold gray is a previously viewed thread with new replies and gray means no new posts and previously viewed. Black would mean never viewed.
