wow, okay....I am trying to be objective and mature in these conversations.... yea...and you would take a vette over an exotic like a new Ferrari (monza or Imola).....

I was just wondering if it ever got annoying...kinda like when you get a cool color , but it gets annoying after a year...etc...

please be objective.... or dont reply... you guys are supposed to be more mature than the "tuner" crowd

and yes IM in 100% aggreance that the C5 has been out for 5 years longer and thus, I see more....

I want a C6 for its looks and performance, comfort and heck, it even gets better gas mileage

When a vehicle lasts this long, it tends to create a strong following and loyal customers passed down from generation to generation.

I'll take the Ferrari...As far as seeing other Corvettes, that's kind of like going to Sturgis & saying there are too many Harley's...it's not possible. How about when you see a hot chick? Sure it would be nice to have the only one but just think what it would be like if you were surrounded by hotties all the time.

I agree with most of the comments regarding not buying into the whole "exclusivity" thing. And I enjoy seeing and waving to all the other vettes. But....I'll have to say that here in Dallas, no matter when or where I drive, it is very rare that I don't see at least 5 or 6 other C5s not to mention lots of earlier years, and quite a few Z06s as well. While I don't lose sleep over it, I'll admit that I would feel a little less ordinary if I didn't pull up a red light and see 4 cars just like mine.

I suppose the answer is to buy a few mods...

drs, I live in Dallas/Fort Worth as well and I have been thinking the same thing..I see almost as many c5's on the road as mustangs..if you can believe that.

it will even be more rare if mitso goes out of the car business as they are in bad shape.
