Default oooooweeeeeee!!!!!

Got a call late yesterday afternoon from the dealer that Iordered my C6 from. he said that the first one they receved was coming off the truck, and if i wanted to actually see one up close and personal, I better get over right away. My sales advisor stated that There was someone coming over in a couple of hours to purchase it. OOOOOOWEEEEEEEE!!!! my first actual experience of seeing a C6 was a great one. It still had the plastic on it, but they let me go through it from top to bottom as well as put it on a lift so that I cold see the underneath. It was a precision red with the Z51 option package. Those drill bigger rotors look sweet.
Observations:
1. I love the fact that there are brake coolling ducts (like the Z06) on the back wheels. And the bigger 18/19 tires really add muscle.
2. The new exhaust tips look fantastic. They look like the back of a jet engine. (my opinion.)
3. It looks so much smaller than the C5, but there was one right next to it and it really wasn't. It just looks tighter. The C3 influence and aggressive stance is right in your face.
4. The front fixed lights are a excellent design. They blend in very well with the front nose section.
5. I wish the front grill was a little more aggressive. I think a mesh insert would do the trick.
6. I wish the painted center console piece was real metal instead of painted plastic. It does not appear to have any coating on it, so it might very well be prone to scratches. Not sure just a thought.
7. THe door mechanism is a gas. If you try and leave the car with the keys in the cup holder, it lets you know.
8. The navigational system has a very easy to read screen.
9. I wish that they has used better material for the carpet in the hatchback area. it looks flat and thin. And I miss the center well.
10. The seat were very comfortable and firm. Yes they are better then the C5 seats. Although I did like the design of the sport seats in the C5.
11. Yes the steering wheel does seem a little out of place, but it has a nice firm feel when you grip your hands around it.
12. The dash is excellent in both design and function.
13. They would not let me drive it. I understand!!!!!!!
I know that a lot of this infomation has been beaten to death, but it was for me a very pleasurable and exciting experience. Now all I have to do is close my eyes and hope I can wake up 10 weeks from now when they will call me to tell me that my car has arrived. Only 70 days or less away.
