How does the memory seat work in this car. In the C5 the seat moved into position when you put the key in the ignition, and all of the way back when you pulled the key out. This was very convinient. Is their the same system in the C6, and how would it work?

Indeed, it is definitely helpful and informative. I answered the guy's question with the correct answer. The button is between the "1" and "2" preset buttons.
I really don't see how I can explain it further. Is there some more direct and simple way to say that the easy exit/entry button is on the door? I find your sarcasm amusing.
Shall I describe the proper operation of the button? You press it.
Indeed. It's right between the "1" and "2" setting buttons.
You can also set up the Auto Exit function (Options), if set and you set the Eme brake the seat will retract when you push the exit button (Auto & Manual transmission). If you have an Automatic transmission there is a Auto Memory Recall Option which will place the seat, steering column and outside rear view mirrors back to memorized position. If you have a manual transmission (I have one) you still need to push button 1, which is a good idea I need to do that to depress the clutch to start it.

Just as on the C5, the easy entry/exit can be modified in the DIC.

LOL relax, my reaction was the same. Newbies to the Corvette... my first thought was the button to open the door . I was not aware there was a dedicated button for the function of making it easier to get out (moving the seat and all).
This is extremely helpful. In my current car, VW R32, I am afraid the seats will take a harsh beating unless I manually push it all the way back... it is a pain as there is no memory function to get the seat back in my setting... so another plus for the Corvette! Thanks!!!

No problem.
For a list of other things found in the Corvette, the following thread may also answer further questions:

Now this is an informative, helpful, lucid description of how it works. Thanks.

I thought I read that the memory settings were also keyed to the different key FOBs... whichever one entered the drivers side caused that FOB's memory number settings to be activated?
So, two FOBs, two memory settings. FOB #1 gets in the driver's side and memory #1 settings for the seat, steering wheel and mirrors get recalled... ditto for FOB #2?
