Default Destination charges
Can anyone tell me if I were to pick up my new Corvette from the museum would I still pay the $800 delivery fee in addition to the $490 dollars that the museum collects?

Unfortunately, Yes. You would pay both fees for museum delivery.

Yes it's dumb considering the museum is across the street from the plant. $800 to ship a car across the street!

Seriously though, it has something to do with GM's shipping contract or union. No way around the $800 charge.
