Default C6 key?
What do you actually use the key for? Just the glove box and console? It's my understanding that there are no exterior door locks and no keyed ignition, so why even carry the key?

There is an exterior lock for the trunk as a physical backup in case the normal entry system fails.

Currently I dont carry it with the FOB... but I have it in a dif place if I need it....

The key will work just above the rear licience plate. It will open the trunk so you can open the drivers door.
