Default Got It!!!

Just picked up my Milllenium Yellow C6 from Kerbeck!! It was the 828th made - black interior, Z51, NAV, DVD all tripped out!! The car is simply incredible - I have owned 4 C5's before (99, 01, 02 and 04) but this car is simply amazing - the power, the control and the way it grips the road are like nothing I have ever experienced before!! I love the 3 modes for the heads up - Track 2 is my favorite - the touch NAV/Stereo is so cool and the XM radio rocks (the 80's station a favorite). Kerbeck had about 15 C6's on the ground - the Daytona Sunset Orange was very nice as well - really didn't like the new polished wheels however - much "milkier" then the C5 polished wheels - the car simply is the best sports car I have ever driven! For those waiting on their C6 delivery it will certainly be worth the wait!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!

Rock the Yellow (RTY) - see you guys out on the road - I will be the yellow blurr!!

Congratulations! Would be interested to hear how the Z51 rides and what kind of roads you're driving on.

In 600 hours, I'll be doing exactly what you're doing now.. driving the finest sports car I've ever driven, and proud of the fact that I made the purchasing decision "ahead of the curve." Now, if I just remember to accellerate at the APEX...

Congratulations!

I agree re: Kerbeck!! Regarding the Z51 - ride home to Philly was all flat highway - car held tight at speeds of 100+ - the suspension and grip was notably different compared to my C5 - much tighter- much more firm - really gripped the road surface - breaking is much smooth and more precise as well. I also must comment on the glass top - I absolutely love it - feels very free and bright - the black glass top with the yellow really creates a sense of highlight to the lines of the car - lastly the wheels are Aluminum not polished Alumninum - this is a first for me but I really like the aluminum wheels with the Z51 break rotors - looks very Z06ish if you know what I mean - for those that ordered the polished aluminum wheels I found them to be a bit more "milky" compared to those on the C5 - its purely a taste thing as both rim selections look great - all of you waiting for your C6 it will BE WORTH THE WAIT - the car is incredible - if you are driving a C5 you will notice the difference! The Nav/DVD system is very good as well - stereo very crisp - I gotta go now to drive my C6 home (at work now). Will post pics over the weekend!

I'm counting the days, hours, minutes and seconds until I can pick up my own Millenium Yellow coupe at the Museum. The excitement is building to a level that I may need the rubber pants mentioned above in this thread when I actually sit in my own car and fire it up for the first time.

It's pretty amazing to be this old and yet still be so excited about something. But based on everything I've read, the car is more than worht the wait.
