Just got back from the Auto Show In Motion in Sacramento. Drove the C6 for the first time. There were about 8 available to drive, and 2 more on display. There was nobody in line to drive the manual, everyone was in the line for the auto. I got around the course so quick, the guy told me to go around again. There were people just poking around the course, and the guy says he can't understand why they come here to drive a car like the Corvette, then drive in like the family wagon. Anyway, it was impressed with the handling and power, compared with the C5.

I looked over the paint on several of the cars, and the only one I saw orange peel on was the PR. There was a Le Mans blue vert on display - WOW! that's a beautiful color on the C6. I was contemplating changing my order.

Oh yeah, it appears the rumors out of BG regarding problems with the power top may be true. The girl who was watching the car said she couldn't put the top down, because they had problems on the two previous attempts yesterday and the day before.

Now, I can't wait for mine.

There were 4 Commemorative Edition Z06's out in the parking lot - don't know what they were for.

Maybe they were taking it easy becuase they didnt want to be responsible for causing an accident or damaging the car, not everyone tests a car at a show like a mad man, but hey as long as you had a good time...

Ps.. I drive it like i stole it too. But sometimes with other people around and driving with you, you have to think of safety for others as well as yourself, and other peoples property.
