Delivery Expectation?
I spoke with Family Chevy in Sacramento & they refused to sell the in-stock cars at MSRP. This has been the MO of all the dealers with inventory here in nor-cal since release.

Yes, it does make sense that an order has been sent to Chevy but not yet accepted.
Keep in mind that when an order becomes preferenced (2500) it cannot be changed.
1100-Order placed at dealer
1101-Order accepted by GM
2001-Order generated to dealer
2005-Order replaced with GM Prospec order
2050-Order changed
2500-Order sent to production, preferenced
3000-Order accepted by production control 3100-Order available to sequence (now the tpw becomes more stable)
3300-Order selected for production by assembly plant
3400-Order broadcasted for production
3800-Vehicle produced
4150-Vehicled invoiced to dealer
4200-Vehicle shipped
5000-Vehicle delivered to dealer
6000-Vehicle delivered to customer

I would be Highly suspect of any one telling you they were going to be able to deliver a Vert in November just because of the fact that they are not taking Vert orders yet. The rumor mill has it that they will start in October some time. that being said it will most likely be December before the first ones start to roll off the showroom floors and that will depend a lot on when your dealer gets an allocation to place the order.
