I'm also waiting for one. When I ordered it on 26 August, my dealer told me I should get it in about 11 weeks (mid-November). I got the same estimate today and he told I was scheduled to get their first convertible. The order (HPC831) was accepted but that was it.

It may be that the cars will begin to go on sale in December. That would mean a late October order opening and scheduling??

Just a guess, mind you.

I thought they were still having challenges with the auto-top. I know the XLR is a piece of junk with many owners having top retraction problems. Could be the reason for the delay.

At the Auto Show in Motion this past weekend, they had problems with the auto convertible top and wouldn't put it down. Said it was too much trouble if something went wrong to get it back up.

Most sources I've heard from on this forum (whom I don't personally know but appear rather trustworthy and knowledgeable) have been mentioning that verts may not get produced at all until after the new year. Just the messenger. You can tell by my avatar what I'm waiting on, so you know I hate the message myself. Let's hope I'm wrong.
