My car (3106) was the first car off the line on Wed. It was finished
at 5:35pm on Thurs. Someone at the BG told me it could be 1 to 2wks
before it's shipped. I talked to Allied at 4:30pm Friday and it was not
in their system yet. He said the cars normally are in their systems
as soon as they are built.
My dealer said that he was told by BG that the are holding 6 out of
every 9 cars to make sure everything is "perfect". He did not know
more then this. However, I got the feeling this was not the normally
process.
So for you first time vette owners, like myself, it takes 2 full days for
production when your car hits the line. I will keep you posted how
long it takes to reach Allied. Hope this helps.

Maybe this isn't normal, but mine came off the lin last Fri. Allied loaded it Monday. I picked it up this morning (Friday) It took Allied four days to Calif.
