Will there be a cd changer when you order the nav? The order manual says no, but I've heard it here on the forum that there may be a trunk mount changer on the works? Is that true, and is that an aftermarket thing or dealer install thing?
The trunk mount changer is supposed to be a GM accessory available 12/04. Your dealer should be able to install it for you after you order it from his parts department.
I'll let you know more next week, I just picked up my car yesterday and they are scheduled to install a 12 disc CD changer in the back on Monday. If it was going to be in the rear of the car I didn't want a 6 disc changer (and it's not available anyway).... the 12 disc is the same one that went into the C5 but it has a new C6 part number.

I can?t wait to hear your results. Is it supposed to be controllable through the stock nav unit? Wouldn't that be sweet?
Definitely NOT MP3...... just basic CD but it is controled thru Nav Audio unit....at least that's what I am told.... I'm a little doubtful about this until I actually get it installed (I'll be there every minute) and see it work.
How much is it plus install???? It doesn't seem fair that we order more for the nav and have to pay more for a rear cd changer, whereas if we only ordered 1sb, we get a 6 cd changer included. Because we are ordering the nav, we should be entitled to a cd changer as well.
