Pulled from the Brink...
(the nose, the interior, orange peel, hp ratings, etc). Also, I am one of those who has not seen the damn car in person since the January Auto Shows--man that seems like a lifetime ago! So, last night I did the internet search of Chevy dealers and the local dealer was showing one in stock (which of course I didn't believe). When I stopped by at 6:30am this morning on my way to work, there it was: a PR coupe with steel gray.
Even better, right when I pulled up the manager was unlocking the doors and let me in to check it out. All I can say is (yes, I know it's been said a hundred times), THERE IS NO COMPARISON BETWEEN IN-PERSON and THE PICTURES! This is one beauuutiful car.
It took about two seconds of looking at the car in person to pull me from the brink of waiting for an '06. I am absolutely 100% committed to my order again. So, if you are on the fence and haven't seen one in person since the Auto Shows earlier this year, you know what you need to do...

I had not even seen one before last night, but the one I saw last night is now sitting in my carport. (It's hard to type when you're grinning so much!)

He was some kind of manager. He wasn't opening the showroom but had just unlocked the doors to come out and get the paper. It was still dark outside and he was suprised to see me. I didn't expect him to let me in but jumped at the offer. Like they say: Timing is Everything.
