Hi, I'm a C3 guy myself but I work at a chevy dealer & I fix Corvettes!!!
Our first C6 came in friday & I got to put a few miles on it (I did the prep on it) NICE car.... I'm Impressed
so far the only thing I would change .....
I'd want the engine to cut off if the transponder was out of range!!!
I didn't push it, car only had 6 miles on the clock when I started.... I can't wait to drive one that's broken in!!!!
If the engine cut off when the transponder was out of range, you'd also lose the engine when the transponder battery died, or even when there was a lot of RF interference around. I wouldn't want my engine shutting off in those conditions.

1) They could put a low battery light on the transponder
2) Haven't seen RF problems since the airports installed ground radar systems... What a nightmare that was!!!
