It was kinda sad to see Dave Hill get excited that the rear hatch would close properly. If they didnt think the C5s hatches worked right why didn't they fix them???? Ahhhh that would have cost some extra money and they were selling good anyway Its really sad.
You can change your forum name but not your tone or attitude. Both show right through. Another name to put on my ignore list.
The show was very well done considering they had to cram all the years of development for the C6 into one hour, with commercial interruptions.
More than anything, I thought the show really let viewers see the "human" aspect of the loyalists who own, design, and build the Corvette.
Dave Hill, in particular, came across as extremely professional - while also possessing a strong emotion for the continuance of the 'Vette's tradition of being "America's Sports Car"

Cool show, thought it was great that the guy actually acknowledged his nervousness about his responsibility to all of us (rabid vette fans) in the design and development of the C6. I think he and his team did an outstanding job.
His attention to detail (including how well the rear hatch closes) says a lot about his passion for the job....... Impressive guy.......
Oh, BTW, thought I smelled something funny,.... sort of like a stable... Unfettered exhaust is still, (regretably) alive and well here on our forum,..... Guess I really need to start taking advantage of the ignore list feature.
Just watched the rerun....Great show with interesting scenes of GM folks working on the car early on....also noted that Dave Hill commented that he was pleased there was lots of interest and talk on the web about the C6 prior to the introduction at the Detroit autoshow.....no doubt Corvetteforum is one of the sites they keep on eye on to take the temperature of Vette enthusiasts.

Yes, hope he too recognizes the occasional post for what it is.
