Saw the thread and felt compelled to respond in likewise fashion!
Before actually seeing my first C6 in close-up fashion, I, like many others I suspect, was not as impressed as I am now after seeing, feeling and just down right flavoring this incredible and technological wonder of an automobile.
The C5 led the way, imo, for what now has become a sharper and more line delineated C6 design, which btw again imo, allows anyone who understands and appreciates auto design, to see how those corvette engineers and designers encapsullated the best of what we all liked about our C5's and advanced those likes into this new generation, somewhat placidly, albeit with "bite"!
I personally only wish the former generation's sport seats were still available. I found these new seats a tad tight and somewhat crimping for myself but hey, that's only me and I'm sure or I think I am, that even that first minor negative would fade with some time behind the wheel?
The only other thing that caught my attention was the lack of "throat" from the rear exhausts compared to my stock C5's.
Well, for anyone considering, pondering, reading as much as one can about their possible purchase of this new C6, take a close-up and personal view of what is undoubtably the planets best value for a true sports car and I think you too will concur, it meets most of our collective corvette criteria to satisfy purchase.
