I have owned 7 Vettes in this order, 74, 68, 87, 93 ,74 and now an 05C6. I love them all but this is my first new one. It is about time to ride without all the problems that go along with the older cars.

 

My order of preference:

63-67
97-04
68-72
C6
53-59
91-96
everything else

 

A C6 and a C2 would make my perfect garage.

 

I think that its a question of age. I believe that many of those that like "vintage" cars do so based on nostaligic reasons. I personally dont like most vintage rides. So, I prefer the new stuff. Overall, id say that the C6 is the best vette ever, but when the c7 comes out i would most likely endorse that one.

The only Vette I like is the C6. I have never been a fan of Corvettes until this one. They hit this one right.

In order... C5, C3, C2, C6, C1, C4 for styling.

For handling & performance I would have to say C6, C5

 

C6, C5, Stingray ... in that order

 

Both...I've always had one of each; my '72 will soon be joined by an '05. I like mid-years, but lean toward C3s (love that body!).

 

I respect the older Vettes. But I want the latest and the greatest...THE C6!

Even though I like them all c5 is at the bottom of my list. I think it's because the c6 favors it so much but looks so much better....for example line up a c2 and a c6 both have their own look but line up a c5 and a c6 and since they favor a lot it makes the c5 look like a way outdated c6 ...like a early one or something.

I think the c5 will plunge bc of this in the future because up to now each generation has had it's all certain look and STYLE but the c5 get's mixed in between a c4 and c6 too much....and it's too round I like crisp line like the c2,c4, and c6 have

c2,c4,c6,c3,c1,c5 all verts..... thats how i rate um!

1.C6
2.C5
3.C3
4.C4
5.C1&C2 (Tied)
Although between any of those there isnt a big margin. I guess I love all vettes.

 

I love em all, just can't buy all of them. Maybe after I hit the lottery!!!

 

My first love will always be the older Vettes, espically sharks, but the C6 is fantastic. If I had the cash I'd own both.
(But there is no way I will part with my shark.)

 

From a driveability standpoint the vette just keeps getting better. I currently have a 61, 65 and 05 PR 6 Spd Z-51. The 05 is the best driving , handling corvette ever made. I had and 87 and a 98 before the 05. All great cars, but the 05 is just a superior car. The 61 gets all the looks but the 65 may be the best combination of looks, performance and driveability of them all. I love them all!
