Default My first C6 kill

I have a 90 mile round trip daily commute in Northern NJ and I’ve been keeping a sharp lookout for a C6 on the road. Didn’t see one and I was becoming a firm believer that the C6 is like the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, or Elvis, where many have claimed to have seen them, but no proof positive. Well that changed yesterday evening at 6:50PM. I was in my 50th AE coupe and merged onto Route 3 westbound and a PR C6 passed me in the middle lane. I didn’t recognize the C6 headlights in my side rear view mirror after I merged and only realized it was a C6 when he pulled up next to me. Even though it was approaching 7:00PM, rush hour was in full force and traffic was moving at about 20-30MPH. I moved over from the right lane to the left lane, behind the C6, which remained in the middle lane. To be honest, I was not bowled over by the C6 looks until last night. I had spent a lot of time checking out the 2 C6s that were in the NY auto show in spring. I also spent a lot of time at Carlisle in August looking over and sitting in the C6. While the C6 is growing on me from some angles, it just doesn’t look right from others. Well, seeing the C6 in motion last evening has gone a long way to change my opinion . It just seems like a different car when its moving. It looks absolutely stunning when you look at it from 15-20 feet back or front of the car, one traffic lane over. I gave a big to the driver, but I don’t think he responded. I then waved and he waved back. If the driver is a forum member, I would like to say you have a beautiful car Sir . Now, for the kill part. So, traffic is continuing to move along at 20MPH with the middle and right lanes jammed and my lane (left) opens up for about 10 car lengths in front of me. Well I just blew by the C6 at 30MPH :o .

Nah, I think he was shocked by being passed so easily by a C5 .

DOH

Behave. Plenty of modded C5s out there that will flat out blow the doors off any current C6 (at least until the tuning software is available for the LS2.)

Didn't need to get my low, wide nose behind his tall narrow butt
