Why is it that most C6 accidents happen at intersections? While we're sitting there minding our own business. I'am starting to get the sweats when I pull up to a stop sign or a traffic light.
You've seen the ad?
Happens so frequently, even Chevy knows about it.
C6 sitting there, minding it's own business. Gets bumped from behind. Etc. etc.
Thanks for the sad story. More than ever, part of my driving experience is defensive. We want to see pictures though, because your C6 is a kinfolk to our C6.
Is the person that did the damage sorry?
Thank you all for your concern and sympathy. I will try to post pics tonight. After the guy hit me said "I never saw you," I kept my distance and did not speak to him, primarily because I did not want to wind up in jail.
I have a few things going for me.
(1) I spent yesterday researching body shops to ensure that I get quality work if I cannot get a new vehicle. I feel confident I have located competent repair folks. (If any of you in TN have a recommendation, i will gladly accept it)
(2) I have already been contacted by someone interested in purchasing the car in "as is" condition (i.e. wrecked)
(3) I have already spoke to diminution of value experts willing to assist me.
(4) I am an attorney. This is a clear case of liability on the part of the other driver, so we are now addressing the issue of damages. I have seen that Maxie Price has the same vehicle I had and I am going to push for the new vehicle. I will keep everyone apprised of my success.
