Default Back from SEMA today.

I just got back from the SEMA show today. Man what a show! I saw several C6 Vettes. I didn't like any of the mods that I saw. It is hard to improve on perfection.

i agree that some of the mods at the show were not so hot but i like the silver one with the s/c..there was also one in the hre booth with two different colored wheels..then again, after walking 10 miles a day they all started to look ..hope you had a good time..

I watched the "highlights" from SEMA on the Speed Channel last night. Unless, I stepped away and missed it, I didn't see the C6 at all. There was plenty of new Mustang and Ford stuff, a lot of Shelby, even though the Speed presentation was sponsored by Pontiac.

I also understand the new Mustang was SEMA "car of show."

I couldn't believe how much space was given to the new Mustang and how little space was given to the C6. What was GM thinking? If attention at SEMA translates to volume sales then Ford has a winner.

I'm kinda new at this Forum stuff. If I knew how to post pictures I would share pictures of the ugliest vette ever built. There was a C6 silver vert with the worst looking body mods you could imagine. I didn't see one mod that added to the looks of the C6.

It was a C5 with C6 badges that was showing all the body work mods (on the silver vert).

You are right. I guess it is a C5, but the headlights are definitely C6 and it is also the worst looking mods I've ever seen.

there was a yellow and black c6 in the opening of the spees channel show. i took pictures of it to post. it had a really ccol hood and some other mods. no it is not the car that is plastered all over the siteit is a diffrent one. it had a "big block" looking hood. was way cool but they did not show it at all.

The headlights are not from C6. They are Ferrari's.
And it is to put C6 badge on C5

Once again I was wrong . It is a C5, not a C6 and the headlights are not C6. But it is still ugly. There were too many good things to see for me to waste my time on this car. Thanks for keeping me straight.
