Default New problem

I was getting my new C6 smogged this afternoon ( I purchased out of state).
Technian said car computer was not communicating with smog testor and I have to take it to a dealer.
Is there a fix i can do myself or do I have to take it in and have them check ADL?

Why would you want to do anything to the car yourself? Let GM fix it. By the way it could be guys tester and not the car. Easiest way to find out is to let the dealer check it out.

Default Smog Stuff

If your state is like ours, the computers have not been up-graded for the C6 yet....Probably will have to wait til after the first of the year....Georgia is that way..

I took it to two different smog places and they didn't have the software. So I took it to the dealer, and after sitting there for an hour, they couldn't hook up with the DMV computer in Sacramento.
So now I can't get my registration done.
I am open to suggestions. Has anyone in California found a smog place that can smog our cars?

New cars in Georgia are exempt from testing for the first three years after purchase.

I successfully passed the test, but the technician had to add on the papers the following item:

ODB-II car vehicle

I am assuming this is what indicates that their software is not yet compliant with the 2005 model. System allowed the override and DMV accepted the paperwork.

Bottom line...required manual override.
