Monica, I realize that this isn't your fault, but most of the stuff on your accessories page is listed as "Available in January." Hard to buy Christmas gifts that way.

Maxie Price (outside of Atlanta, GA) is horrible. They say they offer the best prices but everyone else has better. Don't get sucked in and stay away.

They're also a forum sponsor.

Racinghotroddave - I dont have pricing on those yet, but Paul the service manager is checking on them for me. I'll add the price to my website as soon as I know.

Sirchristopher - There are rules on the forum saying basically that if you dont have anything nice to say about someone's pricing, be them a member or supporting dealer, then please dont say anything at all. I did that page for the service department. I do not work in that section of the dealership. Paul was nice enough to offer members free shipping which should save some money. Im sure if you see a better price somewhere that you can call him & see if he would match it for you. He is a very nice guy & Im sure he would be more then happy to talk to you.

You obviously have a chip on your shoulder about Maxie Price. What is it? I, and many others have purchased a C6 from Monica@ Maxie Price and have had a pleasant experience. As far a price is concerned, I could have purchased a C6 for less elsewhere, but chose to do business with a forum dealer that has a good reputation. If you can find a better price on accessories, I'm sure it won't hurt their feelings. My ignore list keeps getting longer.

So in other words, if your're a forum sponsor, we should assume your prices are not that competitive?

Actually what I said was:

From what I see are the prices Paul asked me to post plus the free shipping is very competitive.

Did you actually buy a car from them?

I'm so sorry I didn't. Instead I went with Hendrick Chevrolet in Cary, NC. (They contacted me and price matched). When I went to pick up the price matched car (Z06), it was not what we had discussed on the phone. I was convinced to take a Coupe instead (at the same cost as the Z06). Somehow they got me believing that the second hand value of Z06s is lower than Coupes (claiming that Z06s are harder to resell). I lost close to $5,000 on Henrick's "great prices". Never again!

My next car will be bought from Maxie Price!

Thanks, Monica. I put in an order this afternoon for some wearing apparel. As you said, I mentioned the Corvette Forum and was told the shipping was free.

Will the GM chromed wheels have the Corvette logo centerpiece? The picture shows the wheels without the logo.

The logo on the chromed wheels are actually embossed into the wheel so there is no color to them. Paul is looking into colored centers.
