Default Mental Midgets

I have a C6 on order . . . this will be my 4th Vette; but I discovered this forum only last month.
But, after reading the numerous disrespectful posts, the persistent bashing of other's opinions, the constant demonstration of the posters' single digit IQ mentality, I have come to the conclusion that there is insufficient merit to this forum to continue to frequent it.
When the administrator manages to get rid of the juvenile delinquents who frequent these pages, or manages to adequately administer the forum, then I, and many others, may return.

Ya know the Harley crowd get along like true brothers and sisters, it don't matter if one drives a Panhead and the other a Twincam. The talk about their rides, exchange performance ideas, paint, etc. etc. So don't BMW groups, Honda and so on. Make me wonder what the hell has happened to the Corvette crowd, come on guys

Well, you know, you can expect some of this crap on ANY forum about ANYTHING. And, this forum, actually, seems to have less than the usual amount that I'm use to.
One reason for the extra crap, lately, is the NEW model year. Without THAT, there'd be less to talk trash about. It'll calm down as things begin to even out over the next few months.
Use the ignore features, and try and learn and enjoy what you can.

I tend to agree w/ you, mainly w.r.t. the gratuitous insulting. The anonymity that online forums facilitate brings out the worse in some people. Such people probably would behave more tactfully in person. True, we have to endure nasty and mean comments from some, but it's probably better than the other end of the spectrum in which strong censorship is enforced.

It's a forum of approximately 70,000 members. I think you expect too much.

After being on this forum for 5 1/2 years, six months before delivery of my first Vette, I've seen a lot of things and a lot of trolls come and go. Be patient, these things go in cycles. This forum has been around a lot longer than the short month you experienced.

I have found, and continue to find, this forum a source of a wealth of information about Corvettes.

My wife got a BMW last year and most of those forums are plugged with trolls. Roadfly being the worst. I have a bombed diesel truck and those forums have a lot of trolling as well. I think this one is relatively painless.
