Someone go into Chevy's system and figure put how much C6 inventory they have. Isn't after like 60 days worth of cars sitting, the discounts start coming??

Inventory would be expected to increase during the winter months and thin out again in the spring and summer. Now, if there was a C6 SUV with AWD.....

So approx how many cars would be available at 60 days? If 3100 cars equal 32 days what is it like 6200 cars?? Whoa...that would be alot of unsold C-6s at $45-52K. Dealers lets get those discounts coming!!

I still believe you won't see big discounts this year. By staggering the convertible production that will keep demand up and when the can run full production on the convertible it will eat up the inventory of the coupes so demand will be on pace with supply. Early 06 models will be ok until full production of the Z06 and agin will slow production of the C6 so demand and supply should run pretty close. Currently I believe the coupes are outpacing demand but thats only till convertibles run full production.

Default One Reason

One Reason

NO Verts are being produced so those slots are filled
by coupes, thats ok but a lot of people are waiting to see and or buy a vert and until they start production the coupe inventory will continue to rise. I bet you don't see any back log of verts when and IF they ever start building them

Not even. See Chad's spot on post as to why not.

Adg, I doubt it given the way most C6 buyers, like myself, are ordering the car (loaded to the gunwales).

I think discounts will be coming pretty soon. My dealer (Smith Chevy, San Antonio) has 4 cars seating on the lot. They are trying to sell them at MSRP and when I was talking to a salesperson and said that normally they don't discount these but "we can talk about price"
