Offsets and width.. (Custom Wheels)
Gentleman,
I am having custom forged wheels for my car but i have a few questions.. What is the current front and rear offset and would anyone know how agressive and the maximum width i can go is?
Also, I am going to have a run of these wheels made.. they are the STRONGEST and LIGHTEST wheels that will be available for the C6.. They are forged on Champion Motorsports 8000lb forge.
Here is a pic of them on an M3.. We had 30 sets of them made up and they sold within the first week... They were made as a classy looking street wheel but because of offset and width we used them double duty on the track. I have nailed the largest of NYC potholes with these things and they never faultered. Anyone interested in a set?
I would also want to guage opinions on sizes.. Im not going any larger then 19r/18f for lack of tires.. I could make a run of 20"/19" if people want them but you wouldnt be able to get R-Comps for them.. thats your decision.. Also.. These are Lipless for strength.. If people want a tiny lip in the front and some kinda dish in the rear i think that can be done..
Dont know what the price is.. for an initial buy im sure it wont be killer..
