To all those waiting for your verts, keep the faith!
I just found out my MR 1SB Z51 vert will be on the line tomorrow.
I along with many of you have been waiting for what seems
like an eternity.
The not knowing is like sitting in a doctors office waiting
for your name to be called. The wait wouldn't be so bad if you
knew how long it really was going to be. I know if I had changed
my order to a coupe for earlier delivery I would have regretted it.
My event code status was bumped up and down once
(didn't realize that happens) and it drove me nuts. Although
this car is not supercar priced it is still a lot of $$$$. Don't
settle for anything less than what you really want. Next
Summer, you won't care that you waited.
To all you lucky people who have had your coupes for awhile now,
please make a little room for the topless folks. We'll be a little late
to the party, but we are coming!

I don't know if topless people should be allowed on a public forum.

BTW....you'd better post as soon as your car comes in!

Also, when did you place your order, did your dealer have immediate allocations and the like. Can't wait to see the pics.

The vert is just beautiful. If I lived in an area with more than three days of sunshine a year I would be all over it.

Yes, but crabman, think about how great those 3 days would be!

StanNH I will definitely be posting pics, If I start learning now, I'll be ready by the time the car comes.

Chad, Mag Red BLK/BLK MN6 1SB Z51 NAV and I hope I don't regret
the QG7.

Convert14, I did have a first allocation at my dealership but they are very small. I am really quite surprised mine went through so early.
They've only delivered about 4 coupes so far. I ordered it in Aug.

shaftaa, your order combo sounds great. Hang in there!

FastMover, Don't scare me like that!

Although I will not be doing NCM delivery, I have done it before and I highly recommend it. This will be my 6th corvette. My fear was not knowing the exact date of production and now that it's closing in on winter, I didn't want to be at the mercy of the weather on the drive home. We had a snowstorm here on Thanksgiving and I would've
cried having to drive home in it (especially with Z51 Tires).
I did not order the power top, I've never had a problem with the manual one. Figured I didn't want to fix what wasn't broken.

Wow, this was quite the surprise. I didn't think they were building these for anyone. Absolutely fantastic news and congratulations. For all we know, you will be the first one to get a vert. Definitely interested in hearing your thoughts especially with the top which seems to be cause of our woes.

I couldn't agree more with you about not changing the order. I am not going to compromise at these price levels either. I wouldn't even compromise of color choices let alone an entire body style!

Congrats again.

Don't forget that the top comes off the Coupe and air management is altogether a new and happy story.
Also the coupe is not settling for less, it is the best of both worlds. Say what you will about the coupe, but it looks great top on or topless.
I am also in favor of someone waiting if they can. But I can't remember a more painful wait than waiting for my C6.
